Kay Pee Engineering

Our shop, Kay Pee Engineering, is located in the Suraji Estate, which is right across from Laxmi Pharma in Phase 3 of GIDC Vatva. This part of Vatva is always busy with people moving materials and working in the various units. Our space isn't huge, but we’ve managed to fit all our essential lathes and milling machines in there. It’s a practical setup where we can move from one task to another without wasting much time. The estate has a lot of activity, and there’s always someone stopping by for a chat or to ask about a project. We’ve been here long enough that we know the rhythms of the industrial estate, from the morning tea break to the time the trucks start lining up in the evening. Our floors are usually covered in metal shavings, and there’s a constant hum from the motors running. We don’t really do the whole corporate thing with fancy brochures or a front desk. If you want to talk to us, you just walk into the shed and find us by the machines. We deal with a lot of different metal components, mostly stuff that goes into bigger machines for the pharmaceutical or chemical plants nearby. It’s a lot of repetitive work sometimes, but it’s what we know how to do. The sun sets behind the factories, and that’s usually when we start cleaning up the tools for the next day of work in the estate. We just take it one day at a time.
