Kalgi Beauty Parlour And Classes is located at C/7 in Varun Society. We are in the Shahibaug area, specifically near Girdharnagar. You can find us right opposite Chandramani Hospital. It’s a bit of a residential feel here since we are inside a society. We do two things here: we run the beauty parlour and we also teach classes for those who want to learn the trade. The space is divided so we have room for the salon chairs and a separate area where students can practice. It’s often quite lively with the sound of hair dryers and people chatting. We’ve been in Shahibaug for many years and many of the ladies from Varun Society are our regulars. We do the usual stuff like haircuts, threading, and bridal makeup. The classes are small because we don't have a huge amount of room. It’s very hands-on and practical. Sometimes the society gate is a bit sticky, but you just have to give it a push. We aren't a high-end spa with fancy music. It’s more like a local hangout where you get your hair done and hear the local news. We keep things simple and try to make everyone feel comfortable when they sit in the chair. Being near the hospital makes it easy for people to give directions to their friends. It’s just a normal, hardworking local business that has been part of this street for a long time.
