Kalavarnam

We have been operating out of the basement of the Mahakant Building for quite a while now. It is located at 28, B/5 in the Paldi area of Ahmedabad, right near V S Hospital. People usually find us when they are looking for specific colors or maybe some art-related supplies. It is not a fancy showroom, just a regular basement setup where we keep our things organized the best we can on old shelves. Mostly, it is just a few of us here handling the daily work. We spend most of our time sorting through the stock or talking to people who drop by from the neighborhood. It gets a bit busy during the late afternoons when the traffic outside picks up. Sometimes the lighting isn't great down here, but it works fine for what we do. We moved into this spot because it was central and easy for folks around Ellisbridge to get to without much trouble. We do not really do much advertising or anything like that. Most people just know we are here or they see the sign when they are heading toward the hospital for something else. It is a simple operation, really. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone gets what they came for without too much fuss. Ahmedabad is a big city, but our corner of Paldi feels like a small community once you get used to it. You get to know the regulars after a while and hear their stories.
