Our business is located at 32 Raman Nagar Society in the Maninagar area. We are right across from the Swaminarayan Wadi and quite close to the Syndicate Bank. Since we are based in a residential society, it feels very different from a big commercial shop. There’s a lot of local life around us, with neighbors coming and going and kids playing nearby. We focus on making various food items, which is what the Gruhudhyog name is all about. You can usually smell whatever we are preparing if you are walking down the street nearby. The address is 380008, and it’s a nice, established part of Ahmedabad to be in. We spend our days sorting through ingredients, cooking, and then packing everything into small bags or containers for people to take. It’s a lot of manual work, and we do most of it by hand. We aren’t some big factory with machines, just a small operation working out of this space in Raman Nagar. Sometimes the rooms get a bit crowded with all the supplies and finished goods we need to keep on hand. People from the bank or folks visiting the wadi nearby often drop by to see what we have made fresh. We just take things one day at a time, making sure we stay busy with the daily chores of a home-based food business and talking to the people who stop in to say hello.
