Kalapi Hair Art has its home at 1118 Salapose Road. This part of Ahmedabad, 380001, is one of those areas that always feels alive. We are right across the street from the Ashiana Hotel. It’s a handy landmark for anyone trying to find us for the first time. The road gets quite a lot of traffic, both people walking and vehicles moving through. Our shop is just a small piece of this busy street. We have been here for a while, and the place has a bit of character to it. It’s not one of those new, shiny salons you see in the malls. It’s a real place for real people. We open up every day and the routine is mostly the same. We watch the guests coming and going from the hotel and the locals going about their business on Salapose Road. The building itself is old, like many things in this part of the city, but it feels solid. Inside, it's just about the hair. We don't have a lot of extra space for fancy waiting areas or anything like that. People come in, get what they need, and head back out into the Ahmedabad heat. It’s a practical setup. We know most of our customers by name because they have been coming here for years. It’s that kind of neighborhood where everyone eventually knows everyone else. We just stay focused on the work at hand and the people.
