If you're looking for K. D. N. Engineering, just head toward the Naroda area and look for the Bunglow Bus Stand. We are right opposite the Satnam Patel Weigh Bridge. It’s a landmark that everyone knows, so we don't usually have to give much more direction than that. Our engineering shop is a real working space, full of lathes and heavy tools. It isn't the cleanest place in the world, but engineering is a messy business if you're doing it right. We spend our days working on parts and fixing mechanical issues for local industries. Being near the weigh bridge means there’s a constant stream of heavy vehicles passing by, which fits the vibe of what we do. We’re just a small team, and we’ve known each other for years. There’s no hierarchy here; everyone chips in with the heavy lifting and the technical stuff. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or a website with stock photos. We just have our tools and a reputation for getting things done. Some days the heat in the workshop is almost too much, but we just crack a window and keep going. It’s been our home for a long time now, and we’ve become a fixed part of the Naroda industrial scene without even trying. We just focus on the machines and let the work speak for itself. It is a long day, but it is good honest work.
