J.M. Engineer

J.M. Engineer is a bit different from the big factory setups because we are located at 10, Suryadeep Bunglows, right near Taxshila Towers in Vastrapur. Being in a residential-style area means things are a little quieter for us compared to the industrial estates. It’s a smaller operation, which is how we like it because we can actually keep track of everything ourselves. Most of our day is spent at the desk or out on-site looking at projects. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby; it's just a regular place where we get our engineering work done. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat, and it feels more like a local community than a cold business. We handle a variety of technical tasks, and since there aren't many of us, we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to drawing up plans. It can get a little cramped when we have a lot of blueprints and equipment laying around, but we make do. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm in Ahmedabad; we just want to do decent work for the people who hire us. The walk to the nearby shops for a quick break is nice, and it helps break up the long hours. It's a simple, practical way to run a business without all the unnecessary corporate fluff.
