Jivan Sadhana Madhyamik Shala

Jivan Sadhana Madhyamik Shala is tucked away behind the Vastarpur Railway Station in Vejalpur. Because of where we are in Ahmedabad, we get the sound of the trains passing by quite often, which you just get used to after a few days. It’s a busy neighborhood, and our students come from the nearby apartments and houses. The school building has a couple of floors, and the stairs are always a bit crowded when the periods change. We have a small courtyard where we do the morning prayers and some exercises. The classrooms are pretty standard with benches and desks that have seen a lot of use. We try to keep the place looking decent, but with hundreds of kids, there’s always some dust and the occasional bit of graffiti that we have to scrub off. The teachers are a hardworking bunch who spend a lot of time in the staff room grading papers and drinking tea. It’s not a corporate-style institution; it’s more of a community school where everyone knows each other’s names. The office is usually a bit of a mess with stacks of admission forms and old files. We don't have any big flashy signs or modern glass walls. It’s just a place made of bricks and cement where students come to learn their subjects. When the final bell rings, the whole area around the railway station gets even more crowded as everyone leaves at once.
