Amin Engineer

We are set up over here at Plot No. 94 in Jhagir Nagar. It’s not too hard to find us once you get into the neighborhood and head toward Asmi School. We are basically right by Bibi Talav, which is a good landmark for people who aren't from around here. Most of our days are spent right here in the workshop doing all sorts of engineering tasks. It’s a practical kind of place, nothing fancy at all, just a lot of tools and some heavy machinery that we use daily. We’ve been in this part of town for a good while now and we like the rhythm of it. You can usually hear the sound of work coming from the shop if you’re walking nearby. When the school lets out, the street gets pretty crowded with kids and parents, which adds a bit of life to the afternoon. We mostly just focus on whatever job is in front of us, whether it's a small part that needs fixing or something bigger that takes a few days. The floors are usually covered in a bit of metal shavings and dust, but that’s just what happens when you’re actually working. We don't spend much time sitting at a desk or worrying about the internet. We prefer being out on the floor getting things done with our hands. People in Jhagir Nagar know us as the local spot to get things sorted out. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy from morning till night.
