Jay Dola Hair Salon is situated on the ground floor near Geeta School Road in Ranip. It’s a handy location for anyone living on that side of Ahmedabad. We are right opposite the Dev Temple, which makes it very easy for people to explain where we are. The shop is simple and doesn't have any of those modern fancy decorations. We just have our chairs, some mirrors, and the tools we need for cutting hair. Being in the 382480 zip code, we see a lot of the same people every month. It’s a quiet part of the road compared to the main highways. We usually have the door open to let some air in unless it's really dusty outside. The temple across the way brings a lot of foot traffic, especially on certain days of the week. We’ve been working here for a while and have a routine that works for us. We get here early, clean the combs, and wait for the first customer. It might be a student from the nearby school or someone older who lives in the apartments nearby. We don’t do anything complicated, just standard haircuts and shaves. It’s a honest living and we enjoy the community in Ranip. The shop has a relaxed feel to it, and we don't rush anyone out of the chair. It's just a regular neighborhood hair salon where folks can come to feel a bit more cleaned up.
