Jay Bhawani Saloon

I’ve been running Jay Bhawani Saloon for quite a while now. We are located at Shop No:-7 in Soundarya Park. If you know the Khokhara Mehmadabad area of Ahmedabad, we’re right near the Slum Quoters. It's a small place, nothing too fancy, but we keep it clean. People from around here come in mostly for a haircut or a shave. We open pretty early in the morning. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but it works fine for keeping the heat away. My cousin helps me out on the busy days when there is a line. Most of our customers are regulars who live nearby in the park or the quarters. We usually just talk about the daily news or the latest cricket scores while I work. It gets a bit crowded on Sundays, so you might have to sit on the wooden bench outside for a bit. The mirror in the back has a tiny crack in the corner, but it doesn't get in the way of seeing anything important. I started this shop because I like working with my hands and talking to different people every day. Soundarya Park is a decent area to be in. We don't have a big neon sign, just the name painted on the glass. Some days are slow, especially when it's very hot out and nobody wants to walk down the street. But mostly, we stay busy enough to keep going. I make sure to sweep the floor after every single customer. It's just a simple neighborhood shop.
