Jalpa Engineering

You can find Jalpa Engineering at number 13 in the Krishna Estate. We are situated on Dahegam Road in Naroda, not far from the GEB Board office. It is a typical industrial estate where everyone is busy making things. Our workshop is not very fancy. It is a place where we have our lathes, drills, and other engineering tools set up. There is always a smell of cutting oil and the sound of metal being worked on. We have been here for a good while, and the place has a worn-in feel to it. The floor is stained with oil and there are metal shavings in the corners that we never seem to fully get rid of. We do not have a front office or anyone to answer the phones in a professional way. Usually, whoever is closest to the phone just picks it up. We are just a few people who know how to work with metal and machines. The traffic on Dahegam Road can be quite heavy, especially with all the industrial trucks, but we are used to the noise. We do not do any big advertising. Most of the people who come to us are local businesses that need something repaired or a specific part made. We just take the work as it comes and try to do a decent job. It is simple engineering work done by regular people who have spent their lives in shops like this.
