Jaikaran Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of the New Balaji Complex, right near the S.T. bus stand in Kutiyana. You can find us at the office of Odedara Dinesh Haja. We chose this spot because it is easy for people coming off the bus to find us. We are a group of farmers who realized that working alone was getting harder every year. So, we put this company together to help each other out. It is not a high-tech office with glowing screens everywhere. It is mostly just chairs, a desk, and a lot of talk about the weather and crop prices. We do not have a mission statement hanging on the wall; we just have a list of things that need to get done. Kutiyana is a small place, and everyone knows everyone else’s business anyway. We try to be honest about what we can achieve. If the rains fail, we all feel it. If the prices are good, we all celebrate. We are not some big company from the city trying to tell people how to farm. We are just locals who know the ground here. Some days the office is quiet, and other days it is packed with people shouting over each other. It is a bit messy sometimes, but it is real. We just want to make sure the farmers get a fair shake at the end of the day.
