J B Engineering Works

You can find J B Engineering Works over at Plot No.62 in the Mahalaxmi Estate. We are pretty close to the Hanuman Mandir on Jashodanagar Road in Vatva. This part of Vatva is always moving, and we're right in the middle of it. Our shop handles a lot of metalwork and repair jobs. It gets dusty and hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We have a few machines that have been with us since the start, and they still do the job just fine. We aren't big on corporate talk or anything like that. When someone comes in with a part that needs fixing or a new piece that needs making, we just look at it and tell them if we can do it. Most of the time, we can. The guys here know their way around the lathes and welding kits. We've spent many long nights finishing up projects to get them ready for pickup the next morning. It’s a simple life here at the estate. We know the other shop owners nearby and we all sort of look out for each other. Sometimes the power goes out or the delivery truck is late, but we manage. We just want to do honest work and keep the business going for another year. That’s what matters to us at the end of the day. We are just local people doing engineering work.
