Isz Hair Salon

Isz Hair Salon is situated in Pathan Ki Chali, right in the Rakhial area of Ahmedabad. We are quite close to the Sarangpur Brts Road, so there are always buses zooming past throughout the day. The shop is in a busy spot where lots of workers and locals pass by all the time. It is not a very fancy place, just a simple room with a couple of chairs for the customers. I spend most of my day standing here with scissors in my hand. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but they are fine for now. We have a small TV that usually stays on some news channel or a movie to keep people occupied while they wait. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so I have to wipe the counters down pretty often. Most of the men who come here are looking for a basic cut that looks neat. We don’t do anything too complicated or strange. It’s a very straightforward business. Sometimes it gets crowded in the evenings when everyone finishes their work shifts. You might have to wait on the bench for ten or fifteen minutes, but that is how it goes. I’ve been working here for a while and I know the local vibe. It is just a regular hair salon for regular people living in the Rakhial neighborhood.
