We’ve been working out of Aashray Apartments for a while now, right next to the HPCL petrol pump in Bodakdev. It’s a busy spot in Ahmedabad, especially with the traffic near Surel Flats, but it’s home for us. Our name is a mouthful—Innovative Design Engineering Animation Idea Pvt Ltd—but most folks just know us for the technical stuff we do. We handle a mix of design and engineering projects, often throwing in some animation when a project needs that extra bit of visual detail. It’s not always glamorous work. Some days involve staring at screens for hours trying to figure out a small structural issue or making a CAD drawing look right. We started small and just kept taking on more complex tasks as they came our way. The team here is mostly local people who know the area well. We don’t have a fancy corporate lobby or a big reception desk. It’s just an office where we get things done. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall nearby when the afternoon slump hits. We deal with various clients, from local businesses to bigger outfits that need specific engineering help. It’s practical work. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a design doesn’t work, we say so. That’s pretty much how we’ve always operated. No big secrets, just a lot of coffee and technical drawings. Being in this part of Ahmedabad is great because everything is accessible, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes near the petrol pump.
