Indralok Hair Art

At Indralok Hair Art, things are pretty straightforward for everyone. We are at Shop C/46 on Karmachari Nagar Road in the Ghatlodia part of Ahmedabad. You can find us right across from Ranna Park. If you smell fresh bread, that is probably because Deep Bakery is very close by. I have been running this shop for a good while now. It is a typical local hair art place. We have the usual chairs and the big mirrors that cover the walls to help me see. Most of my day is spent with a pair of scissors or a razor in my hand. I handle all sorts of hair, from the young kids to the older men who have been coming here since I first opened. We talk about the cricket scores or how the road works are going outside the door. The shop is small but it serves its purpose for the neighborhood. I keep the place clean as much as I can, though hair gets everywhere by the middle of the day. I don't use any of those expensive products you see on the television. I just use what works and what my regular customers like. It is a noisy street sometimes with the bikes, but once you are in the chair, it is just about getting the haircut right. I like the work because I get to talk to different people every single day.
