About Indian Public School (Ips) – Education in Ahmedabad
If you go past the Umiya Mata Temple in Sanand, you’ll find Indian Public School, or IPS as most people call us. We are tucked away in a spot that’s easy to find because of the temple landmark. The school is a simple building with several classrooms and a small administrative area. We have been here in Sanand for a few years, helping the local kids with their education. It’s not a very quiet area because of the temple visitors and the local traffic, but we manage just fine. We have a playground that gets quite a lot of use, even if it’s mostly just dirt and some grass patches. Our teachers are hardworking people who live in and around Sanand. They come in early to get their lessons ready before the bell rings. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment; we mostly rely on textbooks and blackboards. Sometimes we have issues with the water supply or the electricity, like most places around here, but we just deal with it. The parents often drop by to chat with the teachers after school finishes. We try to keep a friendly atmosphere without too much formality. It’s just a place where children from the neighborhood come to study and spend their day. We aren't part of some big chain; we are just a local school doing what we can for the kids in Sanand.
