Hitesh General Store

My shop is located in Omnagar, Chamanpura, which is a fairly busy part of Ahmedabad. You can find us right near the Dr Babasheb Ambedkar Statue, which is a big landmark everyone knows. I call it Hitesh General Store, and I’ve been here for a good while now. The store is filled with all sorts of things, from snacks and cold drinks to the usual groceries like flour and oil. Since we are near the statue, there is always a lot of foot traffic, especially during the day. I try to keep everything in order, but it’s a small space and sometimes the boxes pile up in the corners. I get all kinds of customers, some who are just passing through and some who have lived in Chamanpura for decades. We talk about the local news or the cricket scores while I bag their items. It’s a simple life, opening up the shop every morning and seeing the same faces. I don't have a big team or anything, it’s mostly just me managing the counter and the stock. Sometimes the heat in Ahmedabad is a lot to handle, but the shop stays relatively cool under the shade of the building. I just want to make sure the people around here have a place to get their daily stuff without having to go too far. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular neighborhood general store for everyday needs.
