Hi-Tech Machineries

Our workshop is B/18 in the Shakriba Industrial Estate, right behind the Indo German-Tool Room in Phase 4 of Vatva. It’s a busy corner of the industrial zone. You can hear the sounds of metal being worked on from all the neighboring units. We deal with various types of machinery here, mostly repairing things or getting older equipment back into shape. The floor is always a bit greasy, no matter how much we sweep it. We have a few heavy cranes installed on the ceiling to move the bigger parts around. It’s not a place for clean clothes; we usually end up with oil stains by mid-morning. The Indo German-Tool Room is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. We get our electricity from the common grid, and sometimes we have to plan our heavy work around the power schedule. There isn't much office space, just a small corner with a wooden table where we talk to visitors. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the board outside with the name on it. It’s a lot of hands-on labor, and we often have to figure out how to fix something that doesn't have a manual anymore. We just do the work as it comes in and try to keep the machines running for the people who need them. It's a loud and dusty life but it suits us well.
