We are set up at Kadi for Hitachi Home Life Solusion Ind Ltd. Kadi is a smallish town, and things move at a different pace here compared to the big cities. Our facility is one of those places where everyone kind of knows each other. It’s not a high-tech glass building. It’s more of a functional space that gets the job done. The weather gets really hot in this part of Gujarat, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans and cooling are working right. We have a group of local workers who come in every morning. Some of them have been with us for years. We don't have a lot of corporate rules that don't make sense. We just focus on the daily tasks at hand. There’s a lot of dust from the nearby roads, so we are always cleaning the windows. It feels like a very grounded place to work. No one wears suits or ties here unless there is a very specific reason. We usually have our lunch together in the break area. It’s mostly homemade food that people bring from their houses. It makes the place feel more like a community than just a company. We handle our operations without much drama. People in town know where we are if they need anything. We just keep our heads down and do the work the best way we know how.
