Herbopath Beauty Center

Our place is on the ground floor of Rangwala Tower. If you know where the NCC Ground Road is near Law Garden, you can’t miss us. It’s right opposite the Judges Guest House. It’s a busy area, especially when people come out for walks in the evening, but inside it stays relatively quiet. Herbopath Beauty Center isn't one of those loud, bright shops. We have some plants in the window and the light is a bit soft. I started this because I liked the idea of using things that aren't full of harsh chemicals. We do facials and hair treatments mostly. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a little clicking noise when it’s on high, but we got used to it. The tea guy comes by at four every day, and that’s usually when we take a short break if no one is waiting. Most of our ladies have been coming here since we opened. We know about their kids and their weddings. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of work with our hands. The floor is tiled and easy to mop, which is good because things get messy when we mix up the herbal pastes. We don't have a big sign, just the one on the door. It feels more like a home than a business most days. It gets a bit crowded on Saturdays, so we try to keep things moving along without rushing anyone too much.
