You can find Gurukrupa Hair Art on Sola Road, right at Shop Number 1 on the ground floor. We are right next to the Ashok Dal Vada place, which is lucky because it smells good all day. It is near the Bhuyangdev Char Rasta, so there is always a lot of activity around here. I opened this shop in Ahmedabad because I wanted to work for myself. It is not a very big shop, just enough room for a few people to sit and wait. I keep my tools clean and the scissors sharp. Most of the people who come in are from the surrounding buildings or folks stopping by after eating next door. It’s a busy corner of the city. I don’t use any of those expensive products you see in malls. I just use what works and what people like. Sometimes the air conditioner acts up, but we keep the door open and the fans going. It is a simple life, cutting hair and talking to the regulars about the weather or the traffic. I have been doing this for years, so I know most of the styles people ask for. If you are around Bhuyangdev, stop in. We don't take appointments usually, just first come first served. It is a bit loud with the street noise, but we are used to it by now. Just a local shop for local people. There is always a newspaper to read if you wait for a bit.
