Gulaboils

If you head down towards Gate No 2 of Teliya Mill, right across from Century Market, you will find Gulaboils. This part of Kalupur in Ahmedabad is always crowded. There are rickshaws everywhere and people hauling bags of grain or oil containers. Our place is near Prem Darwaja, which is a busy landmark everyone around here knows. We deal with oil, so the smell of the mill is just part of our daily life. It’s an old area with narrow streets and buildings that have seen many years. We don't have a modern setup with air conditioning in every room. It’s more about the metal shutters, the heavy barrels, and the sound of the market outside. Our staff knows the local traders by name because they see them every morning. Sometimes deliveries get delayed because the traffic in Ahmedabad-06 can be a total nightmare, but we manage. We spend our time checking the stock and making sure the accounts are handled properly. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of the different types of oils coming in. We don't really have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us working in the middle of the city's hustle. It’s dusty and loud, but it’s where we have been for a long time. People stop by for a quick word or to check prices, and that’s how the day goes.
