Goyal Hair Art

Goyal Hair Art is at 532/2 in Arjunlal Ni Khadki. We are right on Bala Hanuman Road in the Khadia area. This is the heart of the old city in Ahmedabad. Our shop is tucked away in the Khadki, which is typical for this part of town. It is a small space but it has been enough for us for many years. We do hair art, which mostly means standard haircuts and shaves for the local men. Khadia is a very crowded and lively place. There is a lot of history in these streets and we feel like a part of it. The shop is simple with a couple of chairs and old wooden cabinets for our tools. We don't have fancy lights or air conditioning. Usually, we just have the door open to let the air in. The people who come here are mostly our neighbors. They stop by not just for a haircut but also to chat and share the news of the day. It is a very casual atmosphere. We don't have a boss in a suit or any corporate policies. It is just us doing what we have always done. The Bala Hanuman Road is always busy with shoppers and scooters. We just watch the world go by from our little shop. It is a quiet, honest way to spend the day and we like it that way.
