Glorious The Family Salon

We have been operating this salon in Navrangpura for quite some time now. You can find us located at Sunrise Avenue, right in that busy stretch between the stadium circle and the commerce six roads. Being on the ground floor at Shop-1 makes it easy for people to just wander in while they are out doing their errands. The Jain Derasar Temple is close by, so we get a lot of foot traffic from people heading over there. Opposite us is the Saraspur Nagrik Bank, which is always busy during the day. Inside, it is just a normal shop. We have the usual chairs and mirrors, and the floor is usually covered in some hair because we are constantly working. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights, but it stays cool enough when the Ahmedabad heat gets bad outside. We see a lot of families from around this part of town. Some of the kids have been coming here since they were small, and now they are grown up. It is funny how time goes by when you are just doing the same work every day. The morning starts with sweeping and ends with locking up the shutters late in the evening. There isn't much to it, just keeping the scissors sharp and making sure people leave looking a bit better than when they walked in. We don't do much talking about ourselves, we just get on with the haircuts.
