We are located at B/2 Sharad Appartments, right across from the Gulbai Tekra Water Pumping Station. If you are looking for us, the IDBI Bank nearby is a good landmark to use. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for an engineering outfit, being in an apartment building, but it works for us. We have turned the space into a functional office and small workshop area. Global Engineers Ahmedabad is mostly about technical work and planning. We spend quite a bit of time at our desks with drawings and calculations, but we also have tools scattered around for when we need to put something together. The view out the window is mostly the pumping station and people heading to the bank. It’s a relatively quiet corner compared to the main roads. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, people come to us because they heard about us from someone else. We deal with various engineering problems and try to find a way to make things work. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes. We drink a lot of tea while we look at blueprints. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to fixing a piece of equipment. It’s just how we run things in Sharad Appartments and it has been that way for a good while now since we first moved in.
