Girish Hair Art

Our shop is called Girish Hair Art and we are located in the Palak Shopping Center. It is Shop No. Ff-23 on the first floor. We are right opposite Umiya Hall in the Ghatlodia area. The K.K.Nagar Road is always full of traffic and people moving around. Being on the first floor means it is a little quieter than the shops right on the street, but you can still hear the scooters. We have been here for some time now. It is a basic setup with some chairs and a few mirrors. We don't have any air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that run all day. We do mostly men’s haircuts and shaves. Sometimes kids come in with their fathers on the weekends. It’s a friendly place, and we often have some neighbors sitting around just to talk. We don't follow any corporate rules here. We just work at our own pace and try to do a decent job for everyone who sits in the chair. The shopping center is a bit old, so the stairs can be a little steep. We see the same faces every few weeks when they need a trim. It’s just how things are in this part of Ahmedabad. We don’t try to be anything we are not. Just a local hair shop where you can get your hair done without paying too much or waiting too long if it’s a weekday.
