Aabh Beauty Parlour

Aabh Beauty Parlour is located at L/5/1/6 in Shasri Nagar, right on Ankur Road in the Naranpura area. Ahmedabad is a big city, but this little corner of Naranpura feels very familiar to us. The shop is easy enough to find if you are walking along Ankur Road. It is a basic setup with the usual chairs and mirrors that you would expect to find in a local parlor. We spend most of our mornings getting everything ready, like heating up the wax and making sure there are enough clean towels for the day. It is not a place with marble floors or crystal chandeliers. It is just a functional room where we do our work. The traffic on Ankur Road can be a bit much during the evening rush, so it is usually busier at that time. We have a small bench for people to wait on, and maybe an old newspaper to look at. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a minute and we just wait it out, chatting with whoever is in the chair. It is a simple life running a small business like this. We know most of the people who walk through the door because they live just a few streets away. We do not have a big marketing team or anything; we just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer. It is just Aabh Beauty Parlour, a small part of the neighborhood.
