Aapsara Saloon

We have been here at Shop No 33/34 in the Maharana Complex for quite a while now. If you are familiar with Jamalpur Road, you know it gets pretty busy throughout the day, especially with the post office right across from us. Being located in the Ellis Bridge area means there is always something going on just outside our door. Aapsara Saloon isn't a big, fancy place with lots of flashing lights or anything like that. It is actually just two shop spaces that we use so there is enough room for the chairs and the mirrors. Sometimes the traffic noise from Jamalpur Road makes it a bit hard to hear, but we have all gotten used to it. People often stop by after they finish their business at the post office or while they are walking through the complex. We keep the floor swept and the lights on from early morning until we close up for the night. There are a lot of different shops in Ahmedabad, but this one is ours. We do not have a corporate office or a big team of people writing things for us. It is just us here in Maharana Complex. The sign outside is simple and easy to see from the road. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road work or the wind, but that is just how it is. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone who walks through the door gets what they came for.
