A. L. Kishore'S Hair Co. has its roots at 16, Maddox Street, over in Choolai. We even have a post box, No. 452, for all the mail that comes our way. The area of Choolai has a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of that. Our shop isn't a high-end salon with white walls and soft music. It’s a place where we work with our hands and talk to our neighbors. We’ve got mirrors that have been here for years and chairs that have seen plenty of use. It feels lived-in because it is. We don't have a big philosophy or anything like that. We just know about hair and how to handle it. People around Maddox Street know where to find us. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded and people have to wait their turn, but nobody seems to mind much. We talk about the weather or what's happening in the news while we work. It’s a very grounded way to spend the day. We don’t do fancy social media posts or try to look like a big brand. We’re just A. L. Kishore'S Hair Co., and we’ve been at this address long enough to know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s practical work, and we like it that way. We just keep things simple and honest. Every day is pretty much the same, and that suits us just fine.
