Aanand Family Salon

Our place is over at Nrundawan Complex, right on the first floor in shop 105. If you're coming from Shyamal Cross Road, it's pretty easy to find since we're so close to Nutan Nagrik Bank. We've been running Aanand Family Salon here for quite a while now. Most mornings start with us rolling up the shutters and sweeping out the dust that blows in from the main road. Satellite is a busy area, so there's always something going on outside. We aren't a big fancy place with marble floors or anything like that. It's just a regular shop with a few chairs and some mirrors that have seen better days. We get a lot of regulars who live in the apartments nearby. They usually drop in after they finish their work at the bank or while they're out getting groceries. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on Sunday mornings when everyone wants a trim at the same time, and people end up sitting on the bench outside chatting. We just do what we know, which is cutting hair and keeping things simple for the families around here. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps us see what we're doing. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. Most people just know we're here because they walk past us every day. It's a basic setup but it works for us and the neighbors. We’ve grown used to the noise of the traffic and the sound of the bank customers.
