Gallops Hair Salon

We started Gallops Hair Salon at Shop No A/1 in the Rajshree Enclave. It is on Oswal Club Road, which some people call Times Of India Road, right here in Ambavadi. We are quite close to the Tulip Citadel if you are trying to find the place. This shop is just a small local spot where we spend most of our days. We open up the shutters every morning and get things ready for whoever walks in. It’s a busy neighborhood with people always rushing to work or heading home. We see a lot of the same faces every week. It’s not a fancy place with modern decorations or anything like that. We just have our chairs, some mirrors, and the tools we need to do the job. The fan usually hums in the background while we work. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but we are used to it by now. We try to keep things simple and honest. My cousin helps out on the busy days when there is a line. We don’t really do any advertising. Most of our customers just live nearby or work in the offices on the main road. It’s been a good way to make a living in Ahmedabad. We know which neighbors like a quick trim and who wants to sit and talk for a bit. It’s just us doing our daily work at the enclave.
