Friends Hair Designer

Friends Hair Designer is found at 12/4 in Jagdish Park Society. We are situated on Khodiyar Nagar Road in the Bapu Nagar area of Ahmedabad. If you look across the street, you’ll see Akshardham Society, and Gayatri School is also very close to us. The name of the shop fits how we feel about the place. It’s more of a local hangout where people come to get their hair sorted out. The street outside can get quite noisy with all the traffic and kids from the school, but inside it’s just the usual hum of the fans. I spend a lot of time making sure the capes are clean and the scissors are sharp. It’s a simple shop with no extra bells and whistles. We have some old posters on the wall and a small radio that usually plays in the background. Most of our customers are from the surrounding societies, so we’ve known many of them since they were kids. It’s interesting to see how everyone grows up and changes while the shop stays mostly the same. We don’t do anything fancy, just standard hair work for whoever walks in. Sometimes we get a bit backed up on the weekends, but people don't mind waiting on the bench outside. It’s just how things are around here. We do our best to keep things moving and make sure everyone feels decent before they head back out into the Bapu Nagar heat.
