Fine Family Salon

You can find us at Shop No-5 in the Damodar Building on Ashram Road. It’s right across from the Bank of Baroda, which makes it easy to explain to people who aren't from Usmanpura. We see families coming in together most of the time. It’s a small shop, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. Ashram Road always has something going on, so there's plenty of noise outside. We just focus on cutting hair and doing the usual salon stuff. It's nothing special, just a place for a haircut or a shave. We’ve had some of the same chairs for a while now. They're comfortable enough. The light inside is bright so we can see what we're doing properly. We get a mix of office workers from nearby and families who live in the back streets of Usmanpura. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a quick break together. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We don't have a big waiting area, so people sometimes just stand outside and chat. It’s been our spot for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street. If you need a trim, we’re usually around. We don't do appointments much, people just walk in when they have time. It's a local business through and through, and we like it that way.
