Field Engineer

Our base is in Ahmedabad, over in the Vejalpur area. We are located at B/29 in Rajul Park Society, which is just behind Meera Nagar Society. It’s a quiet residential spot in Vejalpur Gam that feels very different from the city center. We go by Field Engineer. It’s a small operation, mostly just us and our tools. The society is a nice place to be, and we’ve gotten to know the people living in the nearby houses quite well over the years. We don’t have a big fancy office with glass walls or a receptionist. Our workspace is just a part of the building where we can store our stuff and keep our records straight on a couple of old computers. Most of the day, we are out on various sites helping people, but we always come back here to wrap things up. The atmosphere in Rajul Park is pretty relaxed. Sometimes kids are playing cricket outside while we’re trying to finish up some reports in the late afternoon. It’s a real place with real people going about their lives. We chose this location because it’s easy to get to different parts of Ahmedabad from here without getting stuck in too much traffic. We don’t use any complicated systems or have a bunch of managers telling us what to do every hour. We just look at the schedule and head out to where we are needed. When we are back at B/29, we usually spend time cleaning the gear or making sure the supplies are topped up. It’s a basic, honest way to run a business.
