Femina Hair Care

I’ve been running Femina Hair Care for a while now. We are right in Shop No 2 on the ground floor of Swaminarayan Complex. It’s a busy spot near Anjali Cross Road in Vasna. People come in mostly for regular haircuts and stuff like that. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. Just some chairs and mirrors. Most of our regulars live nearby in Ahmedabad. It gets hot in the afternoons so we usually keep the fan on high. Sometimes the traffic outside near the cross road is quite loud but we’re used to it. I started this because I liked working with hair since I was young. It’s not a big place but it does the job. My neighbors come by to chat even if they don’t need a trim. We try to keep the floor clean but hair gets everywhere when it’s busy. You can find us easily if you know where the complex is. It's right there in the 380007 area. I usually open up in the morning and stay until late evening. Some days are slow, others we can't even take a break for chai. That's just how it goes with a small shop. We use standard scissors and combs. Nothing too high-tech. If you’re around Vasna, you’ve probably seen the sign. It’s just a simple life here. We handle all sorts of hair types. Some kids cry during their first cut, which makes it tricky. But mostly it's just quiet work.
