Fair Lady Bauty Salon

At Fair Lady Bauty Salon, we are located inside the Shree Rang Complex. Being right by the Naranpura Railway Crossing means we hear the trains go by quite often throughout the day. It is a familiar sound for us now. The Rokadiya Hanumanji Mandir is a major landmark nearby, and many people stop there before coming over here. Naranpura is a crowded part of Ahmedabad, so there is always some noise from the street. Our shop is where local women come to get their hair done or take care of small things like threading. We have a few chairs and some mirrors that have been here for years. The floor is easy to clean, which is good because we spend a lot of time sweeping up hair. We keep a small stove in the back for making tea. Sometimes the power goes out in the summer, and we just open the door to let some air in. It is not a very large space, but we make it work for the daily rush. Most of our regulars live in the apartments around the complex. They come in and tell us about their families while we work on their hair. We don't use any loud music, just the sound of the traffic and the occasional train whistle. It is a plain, honest shop where we just do our daily work and go home. We have been in this spot for a long time and everyone knows us.
