Our office is in room 502 of the Mahalay building, which is just off C.G. Road in Navrangpura. It’s a pretty central spot in Ahmedabad, so there’s always a lot of energy around the area. We deal with lab equipment and testing machines, which means we have to be fairly precise with our paperwork and how we handle things. The office isn't huge, but it fits the team we have. We have a few desks, some cabinets for the manuals, and a small space for people to sit when they visit. Most of the day is spent responding to emails or checking on shipments. C.G. Road is always noisy, but once you get up to the fifth floor, it’s a bit quieter. We’ve got a small pantry area where we keep the kettle and some snacks. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere. We aren't into big speeches or fancy mission statements. We just try to make sure the equipment gets where it needs to go and that people know how to use it. Sometimes we have to travel out to client sites, but this office is where everything gets coordinated. It’s a lot of routine stuff, but every now and then a tricky problem comes up that takes all of us to figure out. Then we go back to our regular tasks until it’s time to lock up for the evening.
