E.I.D. Parry (India) Ltd. has its office here in the Chitrarath Complex, which is right at number 210. We are sitting directly opposite the Municipal Market, so there is always something happening outside the windows. If you know where the President Hotel is on C.G. Road, you’re basically there. It’s a busy part of Ahmedabad, and the noise from the market and the traffic is pretty constant. Our office inside the complex is functional and a bit crowded with papers and equipment. We’ve got a small team here managing things, and it feels more like a local hub than a big corporate branch. The furniture is a bit mismatched, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for us. We spend our days tracking orders and talking to suppliers. Being near the Municipal Market means we see a lot of people coming and going. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking around here, which is a bit of a headache for everyone. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls, just calendars and a few photos. It’s a practical space where we focus on getting the daily tasks finished. We try to keep things simple and honest. Most of us have been working in this area for a long time, so we’ve seen the shops around us change quite a bit over the years.
