Dipawali General Stores

We’ve been here at Ajanta Commercial Centre for quite some time now. It’s unit 139 and 140, right near the Incometax office in Ahmedabad. Most days are pretty much the same. We open up, sweep the front, and start getting everything ready for whoever walks in. It gets busy because of where we are located, so there is always something to do like checking the stock or making sure the shelves aren't looking too empty. Ahmedabad heat can be something else, but we just stay inside and keep things moving. We carry a bit of everything that people around here usually need for their houses. It is not a very fancy place, just a regular shop where we try to keep things organized. Sometimes the deliveries come late and we have to move boxes around while customers are waiting, but that is just how it goes in a general store. We know most of the faces that come through the door since they work or live nearby. Dealing with the daily rush keeps us on our toes. There isn't much to say really, we just run the shop and try to stay on top of what people are asking for these days. If you are around the Incometax circle, you probably seen our sign. We just keep at it day after day, making sure we have the basics. It's a simple life here at the commercial centre.
