Deluxe Hair Salon

You can find Deluxe Hair Salon at Shop No. 3 in the Sukriti Garden Complex. We’re over on Super Society Road in Satellite, right across from those Amrakadamb Bungalows. Planet Health is nearby too, so that’s a good landmark if you’re looking for us. The shop isn’t huge, but we make it work. We have three chairs for haircuts and a small corner for shaves. It’s mostly men who come in, though we do some kids' cuts too. The mirrors have been there since we opened. We keep the radio on most of the time for some background noise while we work. It’s a regular spot where guys from the society come to get cleaned up. We don't do anything too crazy with styles. Just solid, normal haircuts that look okay for work or school. Sometimes the door sticks a bit in the monsoon, so you have to give it a good push. We do a lot of beard trims too. People seem to like that we don't rush through it. If it's a Saturday, it can get pretty packed in here. We just tell people to grab a newspaper and wait a bit. It’s a simple business. We pay the rent, we cut the hair, and we talk about the cricket scores. That’s about it for life at Deluxe. We’re just glad to be working in Satellite area.
