Darshit Hair & Care

Our shop, Darshit Hair & Care, is up on the first floor of Anuradha Complex in Khadia. You have to walk up the stairs to find us at Shop 101. Being near Khadia Gate means there is always traffic and noise from the road, but inside it is a bit calmer. The space isn't very big, but we have enough room for the chairs and a small area for people to sit while they wait. We spend most of our day with the scissors and combs. Khadia is an old part of Ahmedabad, so the buildings are close together and the streets are narrow. We get a lot of local residents coming in. Some have been coming since they were kids. We handle basic hair cutting and shaving. We don't use any high-end equipment or fancy creams. It is just the standard stuff that works. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the mirrors have a few spots on them from age. That is just how it is. We start early and close up late. If you come by in the evening, you might find a few neighbors just sitting and chatting even if they don't need a haircut. It is a social place in that way. We just focus on getting the job done so people can go back to their business. There is no big mystery to what we do here.
