D M Engineering Co has its home over at 44, Krishna Estate, which is part of Phase-IV in GIDC, Vatva. If you know the industrial areas around here, you know it is a lot of sheds and warehouses all lined up together. Our plot, number 3606, is where we spend most of our time. It is a practical place, built for work and not for looking pretty. Inside, we have got our equipment set up and we mostly focus on the technical side of things. The noise of the neighboring units is just background music to us now. It gets really hot in Vatva during the peak of summer, especially inside these industrial sheds, so we drink a lot of water and just keep moving. We don’t bother with big speeches or trying to sound like a giant corporation. We are just a local engineering shop trying to do a decent job with the tools we have. Some days are slow and we spend time cleaning the machines, while other days are a total rush with everyone working late to get things finished. We have been in this estate for a while, and we have seen plenty of businesses come and go. We just stay focused on the tasks sitting on our bench. It is a simple way to run things, but it works for us and the people who come to us for help.
