Libas India

Our shop is Libas India, tucked away in the Citi Center building over in the Sabarmati area of Ahmedabad. We are on the first floor, specifically unit A 108. It’s a bit of a walk through the society near the D Cabin area to get here. The place stays busy because of the location near Eidgha. We deal with clothes, mostly what people need for daily wear or small functions. It is not a very big space but we have managed to fit everything we need inside. My cousins help out sometimes when the stock comes in. We spend a lot of time just organizing the hangers and making sure everything is where it should be. The building itself has been around for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the noise from the street. It’s a straightforward business. We don't do much advertising; people mostly just wander in or hear about us from their neighbors in the society. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit. We keep things simple here. No big displays or bright flashing lights. Just a counter, some racks, and the clothes we sell. It’s a lot of work keeping up with what people want these days. We just focus on getting through the day and making sure the shop stays open for whoever stops by. We’ve been here long enough that the regulars know our faces.
