Curls & Cuts

Curls & Cuts is located at H 10 in Riverside Park. We are in the Vasna area of Ahmedabad. To find us, you have to go behind G B Shah College, and we are quite close to Vaishali Township as well. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but that makes it a quieter place to work. I converted part of my property into this shop a few years back. It’s mostly just me working here, though sometimes my nephew helps out with the cleaning and running errands. I do hair for all sorts of people. Some come for curls, some come for short cuts. I have a few mirrors and a couple of sturdy chairs. The walls are painted a simple off-white color. I don't have a lot of expensive equipment, just the stuff that works well and lasts. I’ve lived in Vasna for most of my life, so I know a lot of the people who walk through the door. It’s a very informal environment. We talk about the weather or the local news while I work. Sometimes I have to step out for a minute to take care of something at home, but I’m usually always around during the day. It’s a small, honest business. I don't do any big advertising. People just hear about me from their neighbors and show up at my gate.
