Crecon Engineers

Working out of Vatva G.I.D.C. is something else. Our shop, Crecon Engineers, is at Plot No-3302 in Phase-4. If you've ever been to this part of the industrial estate, you know it’s all about the work. There’s always the sound of hammers or machines running nearby. It’s dusty and loud, but that’s the nature of engineering in a place like this. We don’t have a fancy lobby with plants. Instead, we have racks of metal and the smell of oil. We spend most of our time out on the floor. Our office is just a small room with a couple of chairs that have seen better days. We don't really go in for the big marketing push. People know we are here because we’ve been at this plot for a long time. The tea breaks are the best part of the afternoon when things settle down for twenty minutes. We talk about the work, the heat, or whatever is happening in Phase-4. It’s honest work. Sometimes the rain makes the roads here a mess, but we still show up and get the jobs finished. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar and a list of things that need to be done by Friday. It’s a practical way to live and we are used to the noise. The GIDC is a sprawling place, and Phase-4 is right in the thick of it. We just stick to our plot and keep the machines running until the day is over.
