We are based over at Cosire Design Innovation. Our office is tucked inside the National Design Business Incubator in Paldi. Being near the NID and Sardar Bridge makes it a pretty interesting place to work every day. There is always something going on in this part of Ahmedabad, with students walking by and traffic crossing the river. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of employees or a glass boardroom. We’re more of a small team focused on our specific projects. The incubator space is good because we are around other people doing their own thing, even if it gets a bit loud sometimes. It’s not a quiet library, but it’s definitely not a factory either. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when we have tight deadlines and the desks are covered in sketches and models. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive leather chairs. Most of our stuff is just practical and used. We drink a lot of tea from the local vendors near the bridge when we need a break from the screens. We don't have a scripted way of talking to people. If you come by Paldi to see us, you’ll see we are just normal folks working on design stuff. The area is convenient because it’s close to the bridge, though traffic can be a real headache in the late afternoon. We just try to keep our heads down and finish the tasks we have. It’s not about being the biggest name. It’s just about doing the work in front of us.
