Classic Ice Cream

Our shop, Classic Ice Cream, is located in Building 34 of the Chaitanya Society. We are right in the Navrangpura area, not too far from the Sardar Patel Stadium. It’s a nice residential neighborhood and we’ve been part of the community for a good while. Most of our customers are people who live in the society or the nearby blocks. We know a lot of them by name because they’ve been coming here since they were kids. The shop isn't very large, so it can get pretty packed in the evenings when everyone comes out for a walk. We don't have any fancy decorations or high-end furniture. It’s just a clean, simple place where you can get a scoop of something cold. Navjivan Post is our local post office and everything is within walking distance here. We like the local feel of the place. Sometimes the cricket matches at the stadium bring in more people than we can handle, and the street gets quite chaotic. During those times, we just try to move as fast as we can to serve everyone. We don’t do any big promotions or social media stuff. We just focus on keeping the freezers full and the shop open on time every day. It’s a quiet, steady way to make a living and we like the routine of meeting our neighbors and chatting for a bit.
