Choice Hair Art

Choice Hair Art is at shop number 10 in Silp Corner. We are right at the Subhash Chowk Cross Road on Gurukul Road. Being at such a major intersection means there is always noise and movement outside. We mostly handle men’s haircuts and shaves. The shop is small and only has room for three barber chairs. We have a very large mirror that runs along the main wall which makes the place feel a bit bigger than it actually is. My brother and I run the place together. We get a lot of guys from the Gurukul area who have been coming to us for years. Sunday mornings are usually our busiest time, and the shop gets quite full. We have a wooden bench outside for people to sit on while they wait their turn. We don't use any fancy booking apps or anything. You just show up and wait. We get our tea from the stall next door and sometimes we share a cup with the customers if it’s slow. The floor is usually covered in hair during the day, but we try to sweep it up when we get a break. We use basic tools that we sharpen ourselves. It’s a very simple setup. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Just a place to get a decent haircut for a fair price. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and we know almost everyone in the neighborhood. It’s a good way to make a living.
